James, "The after effects Guru" started off as a film maker from 2012 when he was recruited for an exchange program in United States of America.James was hosted in Iowa where he met with a creative film maker Joey Gast who drove and inspired James into film making.

In 2014, James got to direct and edit "Kisasi" an Indie film and in 2015 he directed another film "Mkufu wa Fitina"

After graduating his high level education he jumped in graphic designing in which he got hired to design a bunch of corporate and small business logos as a freelancer.
